Either there are no gay reporters at the Red Eye...

...or they are cracking up at this. This is the actual Saturday paper from Chicago's Red Eye, the Entertainment Tonight/Extra/ A Current Affair version of a real newspaper, apparently aimed at my age group by the Chicago Tribune.

Did anyone mention that this could...I don't know...come off as homosexual innuendo?

Or am I reading too much into this?

Yep. Definitely gay. It even has a teaser that makes me think of the "Do you like movies about Gladiators, Billy?" line from "Airplane."

Wow. Brilliantly gay cover.

Um...no one thought "Red Eye" was a kinda gay name, too?

I like that subhead, too -- "see what lies within these guy zones."

Superheroes, football, caves, bears...
Nope, nothing gay there. Just good, old-fashioned, all-American masculinity. Way to keep an eye out, though, since the gays are infiltrating everywhere, particularly The Liberal Media.

Oh, no, it's there. But I suspect they intended the double entendre...

I refuse to believe any gay would be responsible for such shite copy.
A better writer would have avoided using "MAN" words twice like that in the same headline.

I agree with kat. I don’t like the double use of the word ‘man’. And why would a bearman be invited to a mancave. Don’t you have to be all man to go to the man cave? It should be called some other type of cave.

And isn't "bear" the gay-man's term for a big burly guy that is hairy?

Please don't ask me how I know that.
