Henry Winkler hit on my wife once. I'll tell the story tonight. She may actually stop by, so maybe she can tell the story herself.
We have a regular at the restaurant, a woman, we call "The Fonz." I think it has something to do with her hairstyle. I guess her nickname is better than one of our other regulars, "King Turd." I'm not making this up.
And why shouldn't they? His jacket's in the Smithsonian, for God's sake, and it's probably 1,000 times more popular than some lame-ass Foucault pendulum or whatever other crap they've got.
The Fonz always seemed way too old to be hanging around all those high school kids.
I agree, he was like the creepy old dude who hung around 16 year old girls. He also walked like he had a bad STD.
What is going on in that pic? Is the Fonz not wearing any PANTS?
Okay, well, clearly this is a picture of Fonzie waterskiing, but considering his rep, he has to have spent a fair amount of time _not_ wearing pants, right?

Pray tell, why you were looking up The Fonz on Wikipedia?
I appreciate how they included a long entry on "jumping the shark". The Fonz is not just iconic for being the Fonz, but defining in our cultural landscape when a television show has irretrievably passed the point of no return.
As always Wikipedia, you never cease to amaze me.
No one's said it yet, so I will:
Aaaaaay. Sit on it.
